Biography

Dr. Maximilian Joseph Brol studied medicine at the universities of Bonn, Germany; Strasbourg, France and Bern, Switzerland. He received his doctorate in 2022 at the University of Bonn. From 2023 to 2025, he was appointed a German Research Foundation (DFG)-funded Clinician Scientist. His clinical focus areas include steatotic liver diseases, liver cirrhosis, and transplantation medicine. He has been a resident in internal medicine since 2020. He is currently working at the University Hospital of Münster.
