Biography

Dr. Marta Tonon is a Consultant Physician with a permanent appointment at the Unit of Internal Medicine and Hepatology at the University Hospital of Padua, Italy. Her clinical expertise focuses in particular on the outpatient management of patients with cirrhosis, with particular attention to the prevention, early detection, and treatment of its complications.

Dr. Tonon is actively engaged in clinical research and medical education, in particular in the field of decompensated cirrhosis, contributing to the advancement of evidence-based practices in hepatology.
