Biography

Chiara Mangini is a Research Fellow at the Department of Medicine, University of Padova, in Italy where she recently completed her PhD in Clinical and Experimental Sciences (Hepatology and Transplantation) under the supervision of Professor Sara Montagnese. She is an Internal Medicine Specialist, with a clinical and research interest on advanced liver disease, hepatic encephalopathy and circadian rhythm disturbances in patients with advanced liver disease. Her expertise includes the neuropsychiatric assessment of cirrhotic patients, specifically through spectral EEG analysis and psychometric testing, the clinical management of cognitive and sleep-wake disorders.
