Biography

​​Trained as a Biotechnologist at the University of León (Spain), ​​​Beatriz Garcia Torre​​ cultivated a strong foundation in biological sciences. Her academic journey then led her to Barcelona, where she completed a Master's degree in Genetics and Genomics at the University of Barcelona (UB).

​She further specialized by undertaking a Ph.D. in Biomedicine. This doctoral research was entirely focused on bioinformatics, applying computational methods to analyze the epigenetics and transcriptomics of various lymphomas and gaining extensive experience in handling and interpreting large biological datasets.

​Building on this expertise, she currently works as a Bioinformatician at the European Foundation for the Study of Chronic Liver Failure (EF CLIF), leveraging her skills to advance biomedical research in the field.​
